Three months post surgery

November 18th made it three months since my gastric sleeve. I’m moving along with things. I started the one hundred push up challenge last week and it’s going well. Getting ready to start on week two. I’ve lost approximately 35 pounds in the past three months. That’s a little over ten pounds per month. Sometimes I still feel like a slow loser but I’m very happy with my progress. If I had not lost 60 pounds before surgery, I might be losing at a little faster clip.

My wedding ring is starting to be too big. My clothes are all too big. I need to buy new underwear, LOL, it keeps sliding down my butt even in jeans that relatively fit. I did find an old pair of jeans I hadn’t worn in a year and they fit but are starting to be too big for me. I have a bunch of old clothes in my closet I need to go through and see what fits. I’m going to start bagging some things up to take to Salvation Army or Goodwill and buy some ‘new’ stuff while I’m there.

Five more pounds and I will reach one hundred pounds lost total. I promise to post some pictures then. I don’t have too many pre-op pictures of myself and was dumb and did not do photos for comparison. Once I find some, I’ll get my hubby to take some pictures of me to compare the one hundred pound loss.

Congratulations! Only 5 lbs away from -100 lbs. That is terribly exciting! I’ll be one month post op tomorrow, feels like it has been longer. Thanks for your blog, I really enjoy reading it!
