Yum yum

I just made a protein shake I found on The World According to Eggface. It was sooo good. Just a few more days than I can start soft foods. I can’t wait to experiment but, I think the first thing I will have is an egg. Most likely, some tomago from the local sushi place.

For the recipe (below), I substituted Hood Calorie Countdown milk for the vanilla soy milk and used Smuckers sugar free raspberry preservers instead of strawberry. I wasn’t in the mood for a thick shake so I omitted the ice.

Shelly’s PB&J Protein Shake

1 cup Vanilla Soy Milk (you can use ANY milk or milk/water combo. I’m a soy girl)
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Torani Raspberry Syrup
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Strawberry Jam (I used Smucker’s Simply Fruit)
1 Tablespoon PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter (or regular Peanut Butter)
3-4 Ice Cubes

Whiz in blender till smooth. Top with Sugar Free Land o Lakes Whipped Cream, optional.
